Bradman Museum and International Cricket Hall of Fame
Home of a sporting legend
schedule 1 min read / Updated Jun 2026
Sitting beside the heritage-listed Bradman Oval where Sir Donald Bradman first honed his craft, this is Australia's largest cricket museum. It traces the life of the man whose Test batting average of 99.94 remains one of sport's most extraordinary statistics, and honours twenty greats of the game in the International Cricket Hall of Fame.
The museum opened in 1989 in Bowral, the town where Bradman grew up and learned the game by hitting a golf ball against a water tank with a cricket stump. Interactive exhibitions walk visitors through his childhood, his record-breaking Test career, and the cultural impact he had on a nation that desperately needed heroes during the Depression era.
The International Cricket Hall of Fame celebrates inductees including Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne, and Vivian Richards alongside Bradman himself. Rotating collections of bats, scorecards, trophies, and personal memorabilia are displayed alongside multimedia presentations that bring match footage and oral histories to life.
A cafe operates on site, parking is free on nearby streets, and the museum is a fifteen-minute walk from Bowral railway station. Allow at least one to two hours for a full visit.
