Stretching 125 kilometres between the lighthouses at Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin, the Cape to Cape Track is one of Australia's great coastal walks. Threading through Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, it links dramatic clifftops, sweeping ocean beaches, pockets of karri forest, and two historic lighthouses in a route that suits both multi-day adventurers and casual day walkers.

The full track typically takes five to seven days end to end, but many visitors tackle single half-day or full-day stages accessible by car from multiple points along Caves Road. Highlights include the towering Boranup karri forest, the Injidup Natural Spa rockpool, remote Cosy Corner Beach, and sweeping clifftop views between Yallingup and Gracetown. Four free hike-in campsites are spaced roughly a day's walk apart.

Wildlife encounters are a genuine drawcard. Dolphins can be spotted from clifftops year-round, and between May and December humpback and southern right whales pass close inshore on their annual migration. In spring, coastal heath bursts with wildflowers.

No permit is required and there is no charge for walkers on foot. The track is well signposted throughout, though some sections cross long stretches of soft sand and solid footwear is recommended. Dogs are not permitted anywhere along the route.
