Spread across three hectares of natural bushland adjacent to the Wave Rock visitor precinct, the Wave Rock Wildlife Park brings visitors face to face with a wide range of Australian native animals and exotic birds. Kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, possums, camels, alpacas and deer roam the park, making it a popular stop for families visiting the Hyden area.

The park is entered through the Wildflower Shoppe cafe, where visitors can purchase food and drinks before heading into the grounds. Picnic tables and seating are dotted throughout the park, encouraging unhurried visits. The natural bush setting keeps the environment calm and relatively undisturbed, giving animals space to move around freely rather than being confined to small enclosures.

A Gold Pass is available that bundles entry to the Wildlife Park with access to the Lace Place lace museum, the Pioneer Town Museum and the Toy Soldier Museum, all located within the same visitor precinct. This combination ticket offers good value for visitors who want to spend a full day exploring the site's natural and heritage attractions.

The Wildlife Park sits right at the base of Wave Rock, so it is easy to combine a visit with a walk up the rock and along the nearby trails.
