Situated 38 kilometres north of Broome on the serene tidal creek of the same name, Willie Creek Pearl Farm offers guided tours through the full cycle of Australian South Sea pearl cultivation. Visitors see live Pinctada maxima oysters being seeded and harvested in the calm waters before browsing one of the world's finest jewellery showrooms.

The farm tour begins with a coach pick-up from Broome accommodation and a guided drive north through red pindan country, with the guide pointing out local wildlife and landscape features along the way. At the farm, guests enter the pearl nursery to observe how oysters are graded, seeded and returned to the creek on long-lines, then board the electric vessel for a cruise on Willie Creek to see the oyster lines in situ.

A live pearl harvest demonstration follows, revealing the gem inside a seeded oyster, before morning or afternoon tea with homemade damper in the Harvest Cafe. The tour concludes in the showroom, where the full range of Willie Creek pearls, from round and teardrop to baroque shapes, is displayed and available for purchase.

Total tour time including coach transfers is approximately five hours from Broome. Self-drive guests with a 4WD can also access the farm for a shorter experience. The farm operates seasonally, so visitors should confirm dates when booking.
